Diane Little  


Established a tradition of excellence for cheerleading that is still evident today in the classic uniforms and iconic cheers. She set a high bar for cheerleaders to look, act, and work together as an athletic team. 

She advocated tirelessly to add cheerleading as part of the athletic department and won. 

Diane's teams were nationally recognized with all 3 levels of Martin teams winning first place in the 2001 ACA nationals.

Longtime Martin HS Volleyball coach, coached in the Arlington ISD from 1976 until her retirement in 2005. 

Assistant coach with 1976 AHS State Champion Girls Volleyball team. 

Martin HS Girl's VB Coach for 23 seasons, amassing 677 wins and 4 state championship appearances.

58 of her lady volleyball players earned college scholarships.

2012 Induction to Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) Hall of Fame.

Alan Avrett


Allen was known for his loyalty, kindness, compassion, and honesty and is one of the last of a generation where a handshake was all it took to honor a commitment. His word was good as gold. 

 He became a fan of Arlington High School, where his wife and children graduated, and rarely missed an Arlington High School football game since 1951 and later became a big part of their sports programs.

Arlington HS Indoor Field was named after him.

2025 Night of Champions Awards Banquet May 28, 2025

 Since our first Night of Champions Awards banquet in 2017, we have honored, recognized, and inducted 517 players, teams, coaches, administrators, supporters, and volunteers.

We have awarded 36 scholarships over $42,000 to graduating Arlington ISD scholar-athletes through the Eddy Peach Scholarship Program.
